Christmas is just around the corner and this means that everyone should be gearing up for their Christmas shopping soon so here’s a little suggestion for those trying to avoid the conventional shopping malls. The Christmas Market, situated at Loewen by Dempsey Hill is a fantastic choice for those looking for something different for their loved ones and friends. It will be opened from 3 December – 16 December (10am – 5pm) at 71 Loewen Road, #01-01.
The best part about such Christmas markets definitely has to be the variety that is offered. Featuring an eclectic mix of vendors that has everyone in the family including a wide array of products. Ranging from fashion and homemade jewellery to kids’ toys and home furnishings. More excitingly, while parents do the shopping, the children can entertain themselves with a bunch of different activities, ranging from face painting, balloon art, chocolate making classes and even the usual Christmas favourite – photo-taking with Santa Claus. What’s more, refreshments will be made available via one of our favourite restaurants, Jones the Grocer.
The Christmas Market is located at one of the most beautiful buildings in Singapore. Situated at the revamped historical building, the former British colonial military barracks which was later home to the SAF Music and Dance Company. Beyond buying gifts for family and friends, you’ll also be doing a service for charity. Proceeds left over from the vendor stall fee will be donated to charity, including Women Making A Difference, The Salvation Army and ANZA.
