The National Piano and Violin Competition (NPVC) is coming back this November and will star 150 of Singapore’s finest young talents across various categories!

Jointly organised by the National Arts Council and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, this edition of the Competition presents a special commission by Singaporean composer and 2003 Young Artist Award recipient, Dr Zechariah Goh. His original pieces, composed as part of this year’s SG50 celebrations, will be used as set Competition pieces for participants in the Senior and Artist categories. Dr Goh’s pieces will subsequently be presented by selected winners at the Prize Winners’ Concert, which is open for the public to attend.
