Teaming up with Noise Singapore has been a long time coming for The Local People, given that both organisations look out for local artists of all kinds. Noise Singapore celebrates a decade of mentorship programmes and festival-throwing. Not one to miss out on the fun, The Local People’s nomadic art market will call the Foothills at Fort Canning (right opposite Liang Court) home for two days – 30 and 31 October – from 5pm to 11pm.
You’re welcome to get lost in our maze of 80 vendors, a line-up that we’ve taken special care to pick and choose for the art market. Be sure to make a beeline to The Botanical Plate’s booth, where you’ll find environmentally-conscious bodycare products made by self-professed medicine women in Singapore. Joining us for the first time is Nxmalinda who’ll be selling personalised stationery covered with her illustrations of food – one obsession we can’t disagree with.
And speaking of food, Chulop SG, our newest snack vendor from the East, will be offering bite-sized churros with Kinder Buenos dips that might make you forget about your gym membership.
