WEARTO.COM, an exclusive Singapore-based online retailer which carries both British footwear brand Irregular Choice and local womenswear label hansel, is set to launch their exciting and imaginative Spring/Summer 2015 collections this month.
This is the first time since WEARTO’s inception in 2012 that they are launching fashion collections before they retail online.
Starting with Irregular Choice on the 13th of February, the range features offerings from two of its many popular collections, Irregular Choice and Iconic. The collection will showcase a total of 10 styles, 15 SKUs ranging from $149-$279 for a pair.
This season, the Irregular Choice range is decidedly Japanese-inspired in its foliage-inspired glass heels, classy embroidered bows and aptly seasonal printed butterflies. Most eye-catching of all would be the Baah Baah shoe with its character sheep heel, a continuation of a previous series on Bambi and which coincidentally and playfully reminds us of the incoming Year of the Sheep.

The Iconic Line sees the likes of Daisy Dayz, a kitten-heeled pastel Mary Jane, and the Hook Line and Sinker pump, beautifully embroidered in exquisite hues of aquamarine and black, perfect for all occasions.

The unabashedly nonconformist shoe label is a cult favourite among celebrities like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Whoopi Goldberg, to name a few. Local theatre thespian and radio DJ Denise Tan and homegrown singer-songwriter Tay Kewei also own several pairs from the brand.
Apparel from hansel will be available on WEARTO.COM from 20th February. Hailing from Singapore, hansel is the brainchild of designer Jo Soh, who pulls together unexpected elements, creating highly wearable pieces that suit confident women who can’t help but stand out in the crowd.
The inspiration behind this season’s collection titled “A Vase of Flowers” sprung from a fun afternoon drawing session between Jo and her young niece, Isabella. The season’s look centers around what appears to be children’s chalk drawings on grown up clothing, such as white naïve embroideries on plain black and blue cotton knitted dresses and tops.
Complementing the playful theme is a range of firty polka dotted Rayon/Tetron jersey dresses with striped contrast bindings and belts in classic two-color combinations of white, mauve, navy and black.
hansel has regularly gotten glowing reviews in the local and international press since its debut in 2003. The brand has dressed celebrities such as pop sensation Katy Perry, international movie star Rose Byrne, Australian TV host and model Tara Rushton, and Kiwi actress Emily Barclay, who attended the 2006 Cannes Film Festival in a hansel dress.
“We are featuring Irregular Choice and hansel as both brands that are very distinct yet complementary in designs: the collections are original, quirky and all around fun,” says founder and Executive Director of WEARTO.COM Fiona Siew.
